All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

… read it ❤

4.8/5

This novel is a love story that is summarized as, “a girl who learns to live and a boy who intends to die” but I believe that if is so much more.

All the Bright Places  covered some serious themes about mental illness that should be brought up more often. I actually predict that one day, kids will be studying this novel in school.

It was hella touching and profound liiiiike my heart was fluttering and it was completely different than what was expected. It was a solid read and it definitely had me feeling bubbly, flat and everything in between (I’m currently thinking of drinking some Sprite…). I would like to thank Niven for sharing a piece of her past experiences with us readers and opening our eyes to the importance of mental health.
